Born in the city of Valladolid, Yucatán, Gonzalo Joaquín Oy Mejía has a degree in Graphic Design with a master’s degree in Advertising. As part of his literary career, he has been selected in 2015 in the short story and poetry categories for the collection of living books “#Escrivive-Playa” organized by the Municipal Directorate of Culture and the General Directorate of Social Development of the Municipality of Solidaridad, Quintana Roo, and Grupo Editorial del Caribe; with support from the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CONACULTA). Currently, he resides in the Ville de Brossard, QC. Life experiences have allowed me to transport myself to a parallel world where each of my lyrics come to life. Having a degree in Graphic Design and a Master in Advertising, I gave myself the opportunity to capture and experiment as a writer, unaware that I was entering an infinite world of stories to tell. I participated in Escrivive motivated by an angel who enjoyed my short novels. Without thinking, my work and poems were selected, this being a watershed that led me to let go of my wings and embark on this wonderful universe. I enjoy writing, describing and living each of my characters, their moments of joy, sadness, anger and twists typical of reality itself.

Nacido en la ciudad de Valladolid, Yucatán, Gonzalo Joaquín Oy Mejía es Licenciado en Diseño Gráfico con maestría en Publicidad. Como parte de su trayectoria literaria se encuentra el haber sido seleccionado en 2015 en las categorías de cuento y poesía para la colección de libros vivos “#Escrivive-Playa” organizado por la Dirección Municipal de Cultura y la Dirección General de Desarrollo Social del Municipio de Solidaridad, Quintana Roo, y Grupo Editorial del Caribe; con apoyo del Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (CONACULTA). Actualmente, reside en la Ville de Brossard, QC. Las experiencias de vida han permitido transportarme a un mundo paralelo donde cada una de mis letras cobran vida. Siendo Licenciado en Diseño Gráfico y Maestro en Publicidad, me di la oportunidad de plasmar y experimentar como escritor, desconociendo que me adentraba en un mundo infinito de historias por contar.  Participé en Escrivive motivado por un ángel que disfrutaba de mis novelas cortas. Sin pensar, mi obra y poemas fueron seleccionadas, siendo este un parteaguas que orilló a soltar mis alas y emprender en este maravilloso universo. Disfruto escribir, describir y vivir a cada uno de mis personajes, sus momentos de alegría, tristeza, enojo y giros propios de la realidad misma.
